Sahrakent Pendik Hotel

The online prices for Sahrakent Hotel Pendik looked reasonable, so we went there. On arrival, the receptionist quoted a completely different, much higher price, clearly after seeing we were foreigners. He bluntly said, “If you want it, that’s the price.” We had our luggage and little choice, so we stayed the night mainly because of the bags. When we came back that afternoon, we found the mattress disgustingly dirty. We asked to change rooms, and they moved us to another one. The photo says enough about the mattress. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Our room had lovely sunset views, and we could see aircraft landing from this beautiful hotel near the airport. The setting was super nice, with a great breakfast and caring staff everywhere. We really enjoyed our stay, and it was baby friendly.

The rooms weren't clean at all, and there was a smell of smoke everywhere.

I've never met anyone as rude as the employee handling this hotel's reservations. We call to ask for information, and he hangs up on us. When I call back, the immoral guy won't even answer. You'd think he ran a hotel in the Maldives. If people like this work in the lobby of an ordinary hotel in a flat neighborhood in Istanbul, you can imagine what the rest is like.
