Second Home Hostel

Family dinners were insanely good, Mimi the cat brought cozy vibes, and there was shisha, chats, and great music to get everyone hyped for a night out. Memo, Frank & Arnie are beautiful people, and we loved every minute. They made us feel so welcome and special, with plenty of energy for parties. For a hospitable stay and a Turkish experience, I 10000000% recommend this hostel. ✨✨✨✨✨

The rooms and service were worth what we paid, and everything was clean and well maintained. Even though the hostel’s in a busy area, it wasn’t noisy at all. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. It feels more like a social club than a hostel in the evenings, with a chance to chat to people from all over the world after a day exploring the city. It’s also close to the subway, tram, bus lines, and several major sights in Istanbul. If you’re staying in Istanbul for a while and want an easy, enjoyable stay, Second Home Hostel is a great choice.

The food tour was amazing, and Mimi the cat was very cute. All the staff were lovely, but Mimi was our favorite. It’s a lovely, well-maintained hostel with a social feel and group activities every night, in a good spot for sightseeing.

The hostel was clean, well located, and the staff were super nice. Still, the extra charges felt high: 20 euros for a pub crawl, 10 euros for dinner, 1 euro for a bottle of water, and 18 euros for an airport transfer. I’d expect some things, like drinkable water or pub crawls, to be included. The transfer to SAW Airport also doesn’t make much sense in most cases, since the metro is very convenient, depending on your schedule. Those prices can split guests between people joining activities and those who don’t want to pay extra. I had a good experience overall, but you can find cheaper water and food with better quality outside.
