Silvana Hotel

The pictures on the website looked wildly misleading to me. Every room seemed much bigger in them, and the tiny lobby is all one square foot, with the reception desk and restaurant together. The elevator barely fits two people, and that’s only if you squeeze together, so it can’t really carry guests and their luggage. The rooms are extremely small and unsanitary. I had to lean and walk sideways the whole time. People at the “restaurant” were disrespectful and kept watching us as if we might steal something, maybe a tomato or whatever. They talked about us in Turkish, which we understood perfectly. This was the worst hotel in Istanbul, and those website pictures were the most manipulative.

The team worked so hard to make our stay lovely. Both receptionists went out of their way to explain the city and help us with whatever we needed, and the cleaner was attentive and made sure we had everything. Breakfast had a nice selection, even if it wasn’t huge. We stayed in June 2025. The rooms aren’t massive, but they’re modern, super clean, and had everything we needed. For what we paid, this hotel was amazing value. I can only say positive things.

I left my phone at the hotel reception, and they returned it as soon as I checked in. The people working at Hotel Silvana were kind and lovely, and the location and service were great too. Breakfast was freshly prepared, healthy, delicious, and just to my taste. I give it five stars and recommend people stay here. It’s worth the time.

The included breakfast was delicious and filling, and the hotel was very clean. Staff were professional, kind, and friendly. I paid a fair price for the quality I got, so five stars for this place. I highly recommend it :)
