The location is near a lot of bars, so it isn’t child friendly if you want to go out at night. The rooms and beds were incredibly dirty and uncomfortable. At the desk, the person asked personal questions, like whose sisters we were, and wouldn’t give us the key. He insisted on taking us to the room, then told us which beds we had to sleep in. He asked to use my phone for the internet and went through my apps, closing them all.

I’ve stayed in hotels all over Europe and have never run into a policy this ridiculous. They wanted to charge me $20 because a friend was visiting briefly, without staying overnight. That feels like total nonsense and a scam. In 2025, this kind of treatment is unacceptable. Guests shouldn’t be treated like criminals. I don’t recommend this place to anyone who values freedom and normal hospitality.

The location in the heart of Istanbul and the cleanliness exceeded my expectations. The staff were attentive, kind, and helpful, especially Mr. Nursel, who made sure I had everything I needed.

The rooms are clean and fresh, with no old smell, and the soundproofing is good. The hotel is in a great location. Nursel is a friendly, great host. I’ll come back!
