It’s a busy area, but the neighborhood felt lovely and safe. We could eat at one of the tables outside the hotel and order great food, with a bakery and market very close by. Istiklal Street is only a five-minute walk. The staff and rooms were amazing, the cleaning service was excellent, and breakfast was wonderful. Shutting the windows kept the outside noise from being much of a problem. A great hotel for a reasonable price.
2/10
We were quoted 1600₺. There’s a very noisy club across from the hotel, though rooms on the other side of the building apparently don’t get the noise. We were offered one of those supposedly quiet rooms, but reception wouldn’t let us see it before booking. I politely asked to view it myself and was refused, so we left.
2/10
The rooms aren’t soundproof, so you hear noise from outside and from other rooms. They also don’t clean daily. When I asked for cleaning, I was told they’d done it the day before. The host was rude and annoying, seemed not to know how to treat customers, and argued with every guest. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
10/10
The area was brilliant, and the staff were even better, really friendly and helpful with our questions about places to visit nearby. We had breakfast every morning, and the whole stay was very comfortable. We stayed four nights and had an amazing time. I’d definitely stay again.
10/10
The cozy atmosphere and friendly attendants made me feel comfortable and cheerful. They went out of their way to help in such a crowded city. I really enjoyed staying here, and I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Turkey.
