The Conforium Hotel

Stay clear! The staff were okay, but the room and decor were awful, and the pillows were brutal. At night there were 💯 rodents in the air ducts, or so it sounded; more than once I could hear them clearly and thought they were going to come through the Aircon vent. The place felt rough everywhere beyond the main reception. The location felt like the middle of a jungle, not a main city street. #AVOID

I called the hotel at 11:25 on Sunday morning, 15/02/26, to ask whether they had a room. The receptionist said yes, quoted 3000 Turkish lira, then asked how many people we were. When I said two, he asked whether we were a couple or two boys. I asked if that mattered, and he said couples needed marriage documents. He spoke to me as “no brother, you must have marriage documents,” instead of addressing a guest as me or Mrs. No manners, no couples, zero service. Is this really a hotel? If a hotel on the European side can’t accept couples and doesn’t know how to speak politely, why is it serving guests? This was my worst experience, and I’ll never recommend it. At that price, you can find more reliable and comfortable places. This one doesn’t seem reliable or trustworthy.

Friendly staff, a great breakfast, and rooms that are clean and well maintained. Awesome place to stay, and I hope to come back in the future 🤞

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Some spoke only very broken English, but they still helped with pretty much everything, from calling the airport shuttle service to ordering food delivery. The rooms looked great and were very clean, though quite small, which seemed fair for the price. The shower was comfortable, but the water temperature kept changing. The minibar was well stocked and very affordable. Breakfast was mediocre at best. It was officially open until 10 am, but when we came down at 9:20, most hot items, like omelettes or sausages, were gone and none more were served. The neighborhood got quite loud at night, though it generally felt safe. Walking the roughly 200 meters to the nearest metro station didn’t feel uncomfortable. Even with those little flaws, some of which I’ve experienced at much more expensive Hilton hotels, I can totally recommend this clean, small place with its helpful staff and very reasonable price.
