The Green Park Merter Hotel

The staff were impolite and unprofessional, and showed little interest in fixing the problems I reported. The hotel’s location was also unsuitable, far from convenient places and not what I’d expect from somewhere claiming luxury standards. My room was uncomfortably warm because the air conditioner was broken, and the TV wouldn’t work despite repeated resets. I couldn’t relax or sleep properly. The internet kept disconnecting every few minutes, making it almost unusable. This was one of my worst experiences at a five-star hotel. I’d never recommend it.

A clean hotel with a very good breakfast, and the fitness center and pool are currently unavailable because they’re being rebuilt. It’s a good place for wholesale shopping, with affordable prices, but quite far from Taksim.

The team worked well together, and all the workers were amazing 🤩 Breakfast was amazing too. I’ll definitely visit again….🌟🌟🌟🌟

The breakfast was the one good part, and the restaurant food was good too. The outside area was clean and cared for. A few employees were kind, but that didn’t make up for the mess caused by the others. On the first day, I was told I had no reservation for that day, only one for the following day for six days. It had been booked through a clinic, so I had to pay for a room that night. The next day, while I was at the hospital, staff tried to throw my friend out, saying there was no reservation, even though they’d assured me the day before there was one. They were unfriendly and almost threatening. One employee was especially bad, speaking rudely when he did talk to us and otherwise refusing to speak with us. The rooms weren’t very clean, and the cleaning was sloppy. I had to beg for toilet paper and fresh towels. We needed extra towels because a shower door was missing and water got on the floor (see pic). The rest of the shower was covered in limescale. The windows leaked, and with the curtains open you could feel the January wind as if they were open. The heater was loud and barely warmed the room. I asked for a replacement kettle because ours was broken, but never got one during the week and ended up buying one. At breakfast, tables were cleared while we were still eating, which made me feel rushed, like they wanted us to leave for taking too long.
