We’d stayed here once before and weren’t fully convinced, but gave it another try and were pleasantly surprised. For a 5-star hotel with breakfast included, we thought the price and quality were a good match, and we left with a much better impression this time. It can seem a little far from the center at first, but getting around is easy: the T1 tram is a five-minute walk away. There’s plenty of free street parking, plus cafés, pastry shops, restaurants, and small stores nearby. We arrived very late the first night and got one of the available rooms. After speaking with reception the next day, we were given an upgrade, which we appreciated. The hotel also marked both my birthday and my daughter’s with a slice of cake, juice, and candles in each of our rooms. A small, thoughtful touch. They change the sheets and towels daily, provide bottled water every day at no charge, and replenish toiletries regularly. Toothbrushes and shaving kits are available too. Breakfast was the main letdown for a 5-star place. The selection is better early in the week, then gets smaller, and some things, especially pastries, seemed less fresh. You also can’t take any food or drink back to your room, not even coffee, which is inconvenient if you can’t eat in the restaurant. Restaurant prices are quite high as well.

The buffet breakfast had plenty to choose from every morning, which I really appreciated. Staff were friendly, helpful, and ready to assist throughout my stay at Uranus Hotel in Istanbul. The bathroom was one of my favorite parts of the room, modern and clean. The room was comfortable overall, though a few small repairs and updates would improve it. I had a very positive stay and would recommend Uranus Hotel to visitors to Istanbul.

I had a particularly restful stay at Uranus Istanbul hotel, and the free breakfast was delicious with a good range of options. The staff were very professional. Thanks especially to Parsa at reception, who arranged a late checkout and my airport transfer. The hotel SPA offers several stress-relief and deep-tissue massage options. I highly recommend this place.

Fatma Nur, the General Manager, deserves a special mention for sorting out a booking glitch quickly and thoughtfully. What could have been a stressful situation became smooth thanks to her professionalism and quick thinking. The welcome at check-in was warm and accommodating, and the room was spotless, stylish, and comfortable, with a stunning city view. Exceptional stay, and it’s clear good service starts at the top.
