Volley Hotel Istanbul

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious, and breakfast tasted good. We were staying here while recovering from surgery, and despite a few reviews that had made me nervous, the hotel was brilliant. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Dogma?? at reception and the concierge team looked after us from the moment we arrived, and the cleaners were lovely too. We also got to watch a volleyball game in the attached arena.

The food was nice, and it was cheaper to order through room service than eat in the restaurant. The location isn’t great for sightseeing, though we got around fine by taxi, and there’s a lovely walk down to the seafront with spectacular views of the Blue Mosque and old Istanbul. It’s a lovely, comfortable hotel with wonderful, friendly staff. I only gave four stars because the safe didn’t work when we arrived and wasn’t fastened down. The fridge was inside a cupboard and got quite hot.

Receptionist Enes helped me from the first day and was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. He made my stay much easier and better, so thank you. I was in Turkey with my father while he had a hair transplant, and we stayed at the Volley Hotel on the Asian side of Istanbul. It’s well located, near markets and other restaurants. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. I just wished there had been more kinds of fruit.

There are places to eat and shops nearby where you can pick up food and drinks, and the rooms are standard and comfortable. Breakfast was really nice and welcoming. The hotel is next to a stadium where volleyball is played, so it can get loud; traffic and noise from the front drive can be pretty bad when it’s busy. We also had loud people next door and others running in the halls, which made for a difficult evening. It wasn’t the staff’s fault, but I called and someone came up quickly to deal with it. We heard the rooster people have mentioned too. The staff were friendly and did what they could to help, and I could tell they felt bad about what happened. They offered us another room, which we appreciated, but we had only one night left and declined. Some of this was probably bad timing and luck, but it was still our experience. It’s an easy place to stay if you’re looking in this area, and the staff will try to make your stay enjoyable.
