Weingart Seaside Hotel

Once I found it, I liked the location and the room, which had a view of umbrella street. Getting there was a struggle, though. Taxis wouldn't come closer than the main roads because narrow lanes were blocked by restaurant tables. After two dead ends with heavy luggage, I was ready to snap and hate the hotel. The host helped with my bags and met my frustration with calm kindness. Keep in mind there are lots of stairs to every room and no lift. The walkway from the bridge was narrowed by construction, and Google Maps was inaccurate because of the work and narrow lanes. If you get lost, go the long way along the waterfront and turn right at umbrella street. The narrow tunnel straight from the bridge is easy to miss. Thanks to the staff for turning a difficult arrival into a warm welcome.

The Bosphorus view is a treat, and the hotel is peaceful for resting while you watch the busy waterway. Restaurants are just steps away, the ferry pier is a five-minute walk, and Galata bridge is ten minutes away. It's also an easy stroll into the main city. The rooms are beautiful and reception is friendly. A real hidden gem for its location.

The staff were really cooperative, especially Nadia, who was so sweet and lovely with the guests. I thought the hotel was amazing and would choose it again next time.

I stayed alone for a couple of nights in June 2025, in seaside room 302. The window view was amazing, looking out over the Bosphorus, nearby restaurants and cafes, and Karakoy port. The room had standard amenities, and the hot water and pressure were okay. There’s no elevator, but the staff helped with luggage, and they let guests leave bags if they arrive early or go out after checkout. Yakub at reception is THE GUY, great company for guests. Although the port beside the hotel stays busy until late at night, I slept soundly in the room. They don't serve breakfast, but there are lots of restaurants and cafes right outside. The best things are the location, how close it is to Karakoy port and the metro station, and the flat area. They respond on Whatsapp, which makes communication easier. I'll definitely come back.
