White İnn Taksim Hotel

The whole place smelled of cigarettes, there were ants in our room, and everything looked old. The bathroom door was only 1.60 m tall, and the section by the sink was even lower. Even my child couldn’t stand up straight there. And there was no shower, despite the listing saying there was. Instead, they gave us a basin with some water in it, who knows, maybe someone had already washed their feet there, and a bowl to pour water over ourselves. Disgusting. We arrived late at night for one night, two adults and two kids, and found the hotel locked. We had to call, then wait for someone to come slowly with the keys. The room wasn’t the one we booked; it was a cheaper one. We’d booked a two-room suite for four, but only one bed was made up and the sofa had no bedding. The receptionist told us to “look in the drawers,” but there was nothing there. Later he brought just one sheet and two pillows. One sheet for two people, with nothing else to cover ourselves. I really don’t understand how this hotel has a 5.0 rating. It’s impossible. I think many of the reviews must be fake. Awful, dirty, dishonest. Never again.

The rooms have been newly designed and renovated, and the staff are helpful. It’s a guest house on a quiet alley near Taksim Square, with reasonable prices for the area. I’d recommend it for couples or solo travelers.

A cozy, romantic, artistic place, and I found my stay comfortable. The staff were very helpful. I spent two nights here and would recommend it to young couples or groups of friends.

I paid online for a room, but when I arrived to check in, there wasn’t one for me. The staff tried to trick me by showing me a different room at another hotel that was much worse than the one I’d prepaid for. Then they refused to refund me, shouted loudly, and called me a fool, saying it was okay. I paid, but they didn’t give me a room. I lost about two hours and had to look for another place and pay extra. In my opinion, this was a very bad way to do business. It’s a scam.
