X Flats Taksim 2

This was my second time in Istanbul, and I really enjoyed it. Thanks so much for the wonderful hospitality and staff 🫶🏻

The location is on a steep hill, so you have to walk uphill to the main road or downhill to reach the tram station. For the price, the stay was disappointing. We were there for five nights without a working water heater, so there was no hot water for showers, and the apartment heating was malfunctioning too. Management said the heater needed spare parts that would take time to order. They also said there were no similar apartments available to move us to, since ours had a phosphorus view. On the third day they offered us a shower in an apartment in another building. That was very inconvenient, and we only used it on the last day because it was better than another cold shower. Despite all this, management refused a partial refund or any other compensation.

There may be no backup plan when an emergency happens. We were without water in the apartment for around 20 hours, with small children in the family, and management offered excuses, often not answering calls or messages, especially at night. They need to improve customer care and satisfaction and take responsibility instead of avoiding it. The cleanliness of the apartment and facilities, including the one with the phosphorus view, was extremely poor. After a long time without the necessary cleaning, we could find a lizard in the bed or at the main entrance. This used to be one of the best hotel apartments, but sadly it has become one of the worst. Please look at the attachment and think carefully before making the wrong choice.
