Hotel Yesilpark

Really nice hotel, with lovely staff who were happy to accommodate us. It's very close to Fatih mosque. 🤩😇

We had to leave before our full five nights because the rooms were in such bad shape. After we asked to switch rooms, the next one still had mould, just on the walls instead of the ceiling. In our first room it was visible on the ceilings, walls, and even the bedding, and the bathrooms were unhygienic too. Breakfast wasn't available on our first day because they'd run out of food. When there was breakfast, the choices were poor: nothing hot, just boiled eggs, bread, and a few vegetables. We had to ask specifically for water, and there was no juice. The rooms were filthy and the service appalling. It was an awful experience, and I wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone.

The balcony overlooking a neighboring park was the nicest part of the room, which felt a bit crowded. This is a low-resource hotel in a local area, far from tourist destinations. We had to ask for bottled water, a prayer mat, and soap. We stayed just one night because the staff were so kind, friendly, and helpful 🤍

The staff were really friendly and helpful, but we only managed two nights and I wouldn't stay again. The rooms were small, dated, grubby, and smelled of cigarette smoke, with poor ventilation. There were no tea or coffee facilities unless you asked for them. The beds weren't clean: I found hairs, my son's pillow had a fingernail or toenail on it, and mine had something that looked like an apple pip or animal dropping. The walls were so thin that when I sneezed in the bathroom, the man next door, who was showering, called out. Water from the shower spread across the floor.
