The location was handy, with most places within walking distance. Rooms were clean, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent too.

The team made my stay feel welcoming. ARDA treated me like royalty and I felt among friends, while the rest of the staff were consistently helpful, friendly, and professional. Breakfast was a simple but solid start to the day. Hotel Baylan İzmir is right in the city centre, very close to Basmane station, the historic Kemeraltı bazaar, and the sea. Free parking is a rare bonus in Izmir, and I also liked the charming garden and terrace for breakfast. My room was spotless and comfortable, with air conditioning, a minibar, and 24-hour room service. Great value for the location and hospitality, and I’d happily recommend it.

For a short stay of 1-2 days in Izmir, this hotel could work if you need secure parking. My room was very dark and smelled moldy, and the breakfast was nothing special. For a longer stay, I think the place needs some renovation.

The room service was prompt, and the room had a kettle for making tea or coffee. Our room and bathroom were both spacious and had plenty of amenities. The reception staff were especially polite and cooperative, and our family had a very good stay at Hotel Baylan, Izmir, Turkey in March 2019. The hotel is directly across from Basmane Railway Station, with a number of food outlets nearby. We took the train from there to Ephesus. I had a good experience in every respect and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Izmir, especially for its location and nearby Turkish food options.
