Best Western Premier Karsiyaka Convention & Spa Hotel

The rooms felt cozy and comfortable, and they were clean. The people working here were friendly and polite, and the service deserves a high rating. I really liked the hotel and would recommend it to everyone. One of the best places I've stayed.

There's not much to do at the hotel, the gym is dirty and in bad shape, and there's no pool. Breakfast, the rooms, and the staff are all at the level you'd expect from a four-star hotel.

The food was the main letdown for me. On the first day I ordered a tuna salad without dressing and asked the waitress for a piece of lemon. The lemon had mold on it, as shown in the photos, and the salad was just lettuce and cucumber with very cheap tuna that smelled awful. Breakfast was limited and mostly low quality too. The hotel is on a highway, and the driveway is easy to miss. At first it looked nice and quiet, almost luxurious, and although we were there on a weekend, it stayed quiet, which I liked. The toilet wasn't clean either, with stains everywhere that I hope were water. I woke up at 5 a.m. the first night because the electricity had gone out, and the room was getting hotter. I tried to sleep until 7, but the temperature kept rising, and opening a window wasn't an option because of the weather. I wondered if the hotel had deliberately cut the power while guests slept to save on electricity. When I finally called reception, they didn't seem surprised. They asked for our room number, and the power came back on in less than 15 seconds, like magic. For me, the parking and the quiet were the only benefits. The staff were friendly and tried to help.

Breakfast was a complete failure. The products were all the cheapest, lowest quality options, and both the cooking and presentation were poor. The restaurant lighting was inadequate, and the employees didn't seem professional at all. They need corporate communication training. The room itself was delightful, with working equipment and a comfortable bed. The bathroom could've been cleaner and more comfortable.
