Vialand Palace Hotel

The hotel is in a quiet, somewhat secluded spot, with fresh air and a peaceful feel. I loved the morning view from our beautiful room. There’s a restaurant next door, and the staff gave us useful tips on nearby places to eat. Breakfast had good variety and tasted good. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and well maintained, and the facilities matched the star rating. The team were professional, friendly and attentive throughout. When we arrived exhausted late at night, they carried our big bags up the front stairs, which meant a lot. We had five rooms for the family, and the hotel arranged them all next to each other. They also helped adjust my parents’ checkout so we could leave together, since my sibling had a complimentary Turkish Airlines room with a 3 PM checkout. After checkout, they kept our luggage for a few hours and helped bring the bags down. We were very happy with our stay and glad we chose Vialand Hotel. Highly recommended, five thumbs up! 👍👍👍

The room was huge and nicely equipped, with a refrigerator, dining area and table, and a sitting area. I also got to check in early in the morning, and the service was very good. I stayed one night at Vialand Palace through the Turkish Airlines Stopover program. Getting around is a drawback. The hotel feels isolated, with a mall above it but little else nearby, and it’s away from many tourist areas without easy public transport. Cab fares can add up. The other downside was breakfast, which was surprisingly awful. The olives, cheese and bread were low quality and seemed old, and the hot food was even worse. It seems like the hotel could offer better food if it made the effort.

This is my response regarding my father’s review about the 12k Turkish Lira stolen from our room. We appreciate that the electronic door lock records were checked, but our request to investigate further using CCTV footage was ignored. We specifically asked for the CCTV records to be reviewed, yet it appears no action was taken and nobody explained why. Our follow-up email on 30 May was also ignored completely. The lack of response and failure to investigate properly are extremely disappointing, and raise serious concerns about how this is being handled. We expect an immediate reply explaining clearly why our requests were disregarded.

The room was huge and really nice. Even the loud metal noise from the roof during the storm didn’t bother me much. I was ready to give this place five stars after staying last night, but breakfast changed that. I had to leave at 06:30AM, before the official 7AM start, so reception arranged a takeaway breakfast. It was one unappetizing sandwich, an apple and a bottle of water, even though the buffet was already laid out. I politely asked the worker if I could put a few things in a paper cup or box. He was extremely rude and refused, with cups sitting right beside him. I wouldn’t expect that breakfast or attitude at a four-star hotel. The hotel itself is good, but the breakfast staff’s behavior was very disappointing, and it’s the reason this isn’t a five-star review.
