The room seemed somewhat okay for the price, but I wouldn’t trust these people after how we were treated. We came to ask about a room, looked at it, and said we’d be back in a moment. We went to park the car and get our bags. When we returned, the worker wouldn’t even look us in the eye. He just pointed to the exit and said, “check out.” We asked what the problem was, but he only gestured toward the exit again. Extremely rude, or mentally unstable.

I paid less than €18 for a private room with a private bathroom, and got what I needed: cleanliness, a good location, kind staff, hot water, and fast internet. The furniture is old, but what would you expect at this price? My room was spotless, the air conditioner worked perfectly, and the shower had steady, powerful hot water the whole time. The employees were very nice too. They even helped with my car by taking me to a mechanic outside the city and getting me a wonderful price. I’m surprised people leave bad reviews. Five stars from me.

Good service during my short visit to IZMIR.

The location was good, in Konak, a little past Basmane train station on the hotel street. The back areas are problematic, but the front is quite decent. It’s very close to the Izmir Clock Tower and its surroundings, as well as the metro and Izban train station. The place is somewhere you can stay. But in our double room, the toilet and tap were broken, the bed springs were broken and made it hard to sleep comfortably, there was no liquid soap, and there wasn’t a refrigerator.
