Izmir Marriott Hotel

A sea-view room is a must here. The hotel is right by the coast in İzmir, and the staff were welcoming, especially Mrs Deniz from guest relations and Mrs Sera from M club. Room service was great too. I was in town for a conference and didn't get to try all the facilities. This was my second stay, and I'll definitely come back.

The tall man at the front desk arranged a surprise birthday cake with a candle for my wife, even though it was late at night and we asked at very short notice. It made the evening special, and we're grateful. The whole front desk team was professional, warm, and welcoming. We had an amazing stay and will definitely be back.

Sera in the M Lounge was just as attentive and welcoming as she was on my previous visit. She made me and the other guests feel comfortable, and her eye for detail and positive attitude stood out. The rest of the M Lounge team were friendly, courteous, and efficient too, which made for a relaxed visit. This was my second time at Izmir Marriott, and the service was just as strong as before. I appreciate the consistent hospitality and would happily keep staying here.

Ada in guest relations made a real difference to our stay. She greeted us warmly each day and treated us as if we were the only guests there. She took the time to find, call, and book our hair appointments, helped us look for restaurants, and gave us great recommendations. She also gave my fiance ideas for making my birthday memorable. She is the absolute best, and I'd hire her if I ran a hotel. Farhan was great at breakfast too. He remembered my detailed order, and his excellent English made things easier. We loved the sauna, though the steam room was out of order. The spa also has an indoor pool. I was visiting for my birthday and felt very special. The hotel is right by the water, in the middle of everything, with bars and restaurants within walking distance. Cisme welcomed us and made check-in easy, and made sure our breakfast was set up. The one downside was a persistent bathroom smell in the 7th-floor hallway. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.
