Pasaport Pier Hotel

I can't speak to the hotel, only the restaurant, and I didn't feel welcome there as a tourist. I had booked a month ahead, sat down, got a menu, and ordered a drink. The server took my menu to another table, which I didn't mind since they might've had only two. Then it was passed along again. I waited at least 15 minutes with no menu and nobody asking if I wanted anything. It honestly seemed they cared only about locals and didn't want me there.

The night was noisy, with people talking loudly and what sounded like furniture being moved for hours. Earlier, after we returned from eating, we found there was no running water anywhere in the hotel. I asked what was going on and got no attention; another guest told me the water would be off until 2 a.m. We were exhausted and had a long trip the next day, so I tried to sleep anyway. In the morning reception said, very casually, that a room had flooded, then offered no apology or explanation and just wanted us to leave quickly. The room itself was tiny, faced a neighboring block about a meter away, and felt like a cellar with no light. We arrived around 8 p.m. and had taken the rooms before seeing them. The website photos show only the prettiest sea-facing rooms. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The bathroom smell spread through the room, and the rooms and bathrooms were gloomy and dirty. The photos bore little resemblance to what we found. We were given a terrible room, asked to switch, and were put in another terrible one. We were tired on arrival, but after an hour we couldn't stay and handed the rooms back. We checked out immediately, got no refund, and had a really bad experience. I wouldn't recommend booking here. One star is already too much, I'd give 0.0%.

The executive suite was really good. The staff, though, were rude and ignorant.
