Ulusoy Hotel

We arrived and were told there were no rooms left, so they sent us to another hotel about a three-minute walk away. We weren't happy at first, but it seems they have two hotels, so it worked out. Our room had two bunk beds, two wardrobes, AC, and a nice bathroom. Street parking was available in front of the hotel. The surroundings weren't that great, though there was video surveillance.

Parking was a bit hard since it's along the streets, and the Wi-Fi could be slow, though there are several routers you can connect to. Laundry costs 10 lira. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had quite a variety of options, and had a nice stay.

After a long drive, we needed a reasonably priced place that would let us check in late, and the staff were great about welcoming us at 3 a.m. They also helped us exchange USD. The room was fairly clean and comfortable. The little shampoo bottle was filled with some water, but we used it anyway. Breakfast was free, though we couldn't wake up in time for it.

The owner seemed indifferent and uncaring. There was no working refrigerator, and I lost insulin worth 300 dollars. Each room had two 40 watt bulbs, and there were no lights in the hallways. It isn't suitable for elderly or disabled people. This hotel feels like a step back into the dark ages.
