The hotel and its location are really nice, but cleanliness needs serious attention. I found hair and other things on the bed, and it looked like the sheets and pillowcases hadn’t been changed. I don’t know if the previous guests had wrestled there, but it wasn’t a pleasant sight and wasn’t hygienic. Maybe housekeeping missed it. Please take more care with cleaning. It would be a shame for a hotel like this, and better attention would improve customer satisfaction and the Google reviews.

I’ve come here a few times before without any trouble. Tonight, though, I came from the 3rd or 4th floor and heard some idiot yelling. He was probably high. I didn’t say anything because my boyfriend was with me, but please find a way to deal with this or there’ll be a lot of trouble here. Just letting you know. Good night.

Whenever I’m in Izmit, I stay at Lovcen Haouse and feel at home. I’ve tried a lot of hotels in Izmit, but haven’t found one as clean and pleasant. Some people try to criticize it, but it’s a genuinely clean, friendly place. I usually stay at least 10 days each visit, and Lovcen Haouse is the one place where I feel at ease.

There’s loud laughter and talking late at night, and even the sheets that seem clean have black hairs on them. The reception staff are helpful, thankfully, but at this price I don’t expect the cleaning to be very good. I only stay here when I have to.

It feels like a family place, and you feel at home there. The cleaning is excellent, and they’re attentive and helpful.
