The spa deserves its own medal for relaxation. After one massage, I came out dazed and feeling years younger, as though I’d been hugged by a cloud. The views over the turquoise sea are almost too good, and the infinity pool seems to stretch right into it. The loungers are so comfortable you might give up your plans for the day. Inside, the rooms are dreamy and calm, with crisp sheets and soft lighting, and the breakfasts could make you wish you had room for a second stomach. The staff treat you like royalty, with free WiFi and towels folded into mysterious animal shapes. Even walking through the doors makes you feel more refined, ready to whisper and take up poetry. If Kalkan is paradise, Likya Residence Hotel & Spa is the suite upgrade with sea views and complimentary Prosecco. Five shimmering stars. If you don’t stay here, I can only assume you’ve been kidnapped.

I can’t really comment on the rooms, since we ate at the restaurant. The service was of an extremely high standard, and the whole group enjoyed the meals. The duck starter was the one letdown, with very little, if any, taste.

The calm setting and lovely views made this feel like a proper getaway. Our room at Likya Residence was roomy, stylish, and really comfortable, and we especially enjoyed how well kept the pools were. A peaceful, enjoyable stay.

We planned on three nights and ended up adding a fourth because we weren't ready to leave. The prices were amazing, and we loved the design, rooms, provided products, facilities, and especially the pools. Breakfast had loads of tasty options. Staying here also gets you free entry to Yali beach, with sunbeds and umbrellas included, so you only pay for food and drinks. Highly recommend.
