I spent a lot of time researching before the trip and couldn’t find another hotel at this price with the same quality, though it’s still worth doing your own research. If you don’t have time to look around, I’d recommend it. I’d been unsure because of the negative reviews, but after staying, I don’t think 3.6 stars is deserved. The rooms were very clean, there’s a garden with nice places to sit, and the owner was friendly.

The garden, peaceful family feel, and comfort made this a wonderful stay. Our four-person room was very nice and clean for the two nights we spent here with family. It’s far better than many apartments or so-called rooms in Kefkwan. We’ll definitely come again. Many thanks to Zehra.

The room is basically one room in a house, with a minibar and a bathroom, and not even a bottle of water in the minibar. There’s no coffee or water provided, and no drinking water available at all. Even the worst hotels have things like water and coffee. The room and balcony were full of insects, with no pest control or prevention. There’s a garden, but they didn’t even offer a cup of tea. The beach is about a five-minute drive away or a 15-minute walk, and there isn’t a single nearby market for basic needs. They were friendly until we paid, then their attitude changed. At 600 Turkish Lira a night, this isn’t a boutique hotel worth the price. We wouldn’t choose it when we come to Kumcağız. Think ten times before going.
