The family running the place were attentive whenever we needed anything, and breakfast on the terrace was a lovely way to start the day, with great views. It’s a short walk downhill to the city center. We stayed four summer nights in a private room, not a dorm. Our room was basic, with a balcony, a few beds and a bathroom. It was mostly clean and in good shape, though some things were showing their age and the mattresses were dirty. The air conditioning worked strongly. We drove, and getting up to the lot took some care because the streets are narrow, busy, and steep. There’s parking for hotel guests and we always found a space. You have to call the owner to get in and out, but he responds quickly. It was difficult to find the place when we first arrived. More signs directing people to reception on the building’s entrance floor would help. Payment was requested in cash, which was fine, but finding an ATM that wouldn’t scam a foreign card was hard. We hit the daily limit at the same halkbank atm for several days before we had enough cash to pay.

I came back in 2025 and spent four weeks in room 14. Everything was great again, and I enjoyed the stay. The year before, in 2024, I was here for three days in room 10. It had comfortable twin beds and a very clean ensuite shower and toilet. The room was quiet and comfortable, and I slept well. The owner is kind and helpful, and the location is excellent, about a five-minute walk from the town center. There’s a rooftop terrace with amazing views, plus lots of books up there that guests can borrow or swap.

We spent three nights here with my mom and sister, and the family atmosphere was lovely. Everyone was so warm and kind, and the terrace has a great view. It’s also in a very good location, and you’ll love the traditional Turkish breakfast. I love this place.

I meant to write this review ages ago. My boyfriend and I stayed here last September, and the owner was such a kind man. After a long overnight bus ride into town, my boyfriend realized he’d left his backpack on the bus when we reached the hotel. We asked whether the owner could call the bus station. Instead, he immediately took my boyfriend on his scooter and went there himself. By the time we got back to our room after swimming in the ocean, the bag was there with the computer and passport still inside. He was so generous about helping us, like it was no trouble at all, and I’m incredibly grateful. The room was clean, the terrace was great, and breakfast was amazing. The hotel is quiet and conveniently located, about a block from the water for swimming. I highly recommend it. A huge thank you to the owner again, you’re a great man!

The breakfast was the standout: a buffet with fresh vegetables, cheese, and fruit, plus tea, coffee, juice, or all three. There’s also a rooftop terrace open around the clock, with a stunning view. Rooms were spotless, comfortable, and had great air conditioning. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and the location is very central, handy for catching the bus to the beaches or arriving by bus. I’d highly recommend it, especially on a budget.
