Cedrus Suites

The apartment was an easy five-minute walk from the town center, and parking out front was available, though I'm unsure how easy it gets in peak season. We stayed three nights in March. Inside, it was spacious and very clean when we arrived, with a proper kitchen, gas stovetop, air conditioning in every room, and a washing machine that was much appreciated after a week and a half on the road. The level-three balcony had a good view, partly blocked by the building across the road. Higher floors probably have a better one. The TV had no channels, perhaps an antenna or cable issue.

The mattresses felt luxurious, and the memory foam pillows were a great touch. Each room has air conditioning and the WiFi was great. The town center is only a few minutes away, though the road is steep, and there was plenty of parking outside. A nice choice if you're in Kas for more than a day. There's some room for improvement, but I found it very good value for what you get and enjoyed my stay a lot.

From the balcony we could see both mountains and sea, and the room itself was nice, with air conditioning and good sound insulation that helped with work calls. Internet was a problem at first. The owner quickly adjusted something and it improved a lot, though we still made calls using mobile data. The location is between town and the hilltop hotels, before the steep climb starts. It takes about 10 minutes to walk up from the city, and we got used to it quickly. Other places in this price range were much higher up. Overall, a very good option.

The room was unpleasant and in rough shape, nothing like the photos. The kitchen was dirty, and the kettle was so disgusting we couldn't use it. The pillows were full of little lumps, so we couldn't sleep on them. There was a web on the ceiling and very dirty lamps that made the light much darker. We also had electrical problems. The sheets smelled and felt used, as if they hadn't been changed for new guests. Maybe the rooms on the upper floors are better, but if everything else is booked, don't waste your money on the first-floor room listed as “view on the garden.”
