Kale Apart

The apartment was clean, and the small balcony had a partial sea view, which was a nice bonus. We were on the second floor. The bedding and towels were very rough and stiff, so bring your own. There was an iron but no ironing board that I could see. Only one bedside lamp. The little kitchen had a fridge that looked new and spotless. The bathroom shower had two heads, strong pressure and plenty of hot water. They’d left an extra toilet roll, a thoughtful touch. There’s a washing machine on the first floor, though we didn’t use it. A staff member met us on arrival with the key and was polite and helpful. It’s close to the centre, so town and the bus station are an easy walk. The apartment is right by a local mosque with powerful loudspeakers, which meant a very early wake-up call! Nearby Lemony beach club let us in for drinks and cake at a very reasonable price. Sunbeds require a 200 TL minimum spend per person, and the place had a relaxed feel with friendly, efficient staff. There was a music festival in town, and Kaş was buzzing with tourists from all over and locals. We really enjoyed our stay, and prices were reasonable. Cinar Garden is a good place to eat, with friendly staff who remembered us from last year. The local shopkeepers were friendly without being pushy.

A good spot for a week, with a reasonable price, kitchen, fast Wi-Fi and decent air conditioning. The location worked perfectly for an easy walk into town or down to the sea. The rooms were comfortable, the mattress was nice, the bathroom was decent and the balcony looked out over the sea.

The apartment seemed to have everything we needed, even a washing machine downstairs, and the oven was good enough for us to cook fish every evening. At first, though, it looked awful: some lamps didn’t work, the freezer smelled disgusting, and there were other issues. They fixed everything within a day.

I’m a Thai tourist in Kaş and went to this great bar and beach many times. It’s open, not crowded, and has good music, plus a safe spot for swimming. If you get lucky, a turtle might show up right there. My partner saw one there 3-4 times. 🐢🧡
