We booked all the cottages for a big family holiday, and I can’t say enough about how helpful the owner and Murat were. They were always around to sort out any problems. There are three small private pools and one large pool in the middle, and everything was great. Murat brought fresh groceries each morning, and with all the fruit trees we didn’t need to buy fruit once: grapes, pomegranates, peaches, pears, figs, olives, plums, lemons, and probably more I’ve forgotten. Cottage 4 had the best showers. The others were clean too, though we did have one experience of an air bubble getting stuck in villa 1. The cottages have dishwashers, washers, drying racks, and ironing boards. We brought our own washing tablets. The outdoor kitchen was amazing, and Murat made us BBQ twice. His seasoning beat the nearby restaurants, in my opinion. It’s a 40-minute drive to Patara beach and Saklikent National Park, and I think about the same for a boat tour to kalekoy/kekova.

The villas sit in the mountains of Kalkan, a perfect location if you want some freedom. They’re separate from each other, each with its own swimming pool, and were fully ready, clean, and welcoming. Mrs. Dernek, the owner, was very helpful in guiding us on what to do. My experience was awesome, and I’d recommend the villas to couples and families. You won’t regret staying here if you want a real holiday.

What really makes this place amazing is the surrounding environment. The cottages are well maintained and feel homey, though the bathrooms could use a little makeover. We had a very nice stay in the mountains.

It’s a quiet, tucked-away spot that’s still fairly close to the beaches and the center of Kalkan, about 8-10 km, and Kaş, around 25-30 km.
