Sunset Villa Hotel

The pool was just the right temperature, and the food was fresh and delicious. The staff were personable, knew the area well and helped us book local activities. We’ll definitely stay here again when we come back to Kaş!

The only real hassle was parking the car, but don’t let that put you off. The hotel team was happy to carry our bags from wherever we managed to park. It’s a gorgeous family-run place, with ocean views from our room, lovely foliage on the grounds, a marble pool, attentive service and a generous, well-balanced breakfast. We had such a joyful stay.

The receipts caused a bit of confusion at checkout. We got a stack at the end of our stay, and the handwriting was hard to read in Turkish, so I’d recommend checking and signing each meal’s bill right away. Kanun deserves a special thanks: he’s a really nice guy, an excellent cook and speaks perfect English. This family-run hotel has a relaxed feel, and it seemed they were making an effort to improve, though the standards were a little lower. During our seven days, the cleaner only refilled the shower gel and shampoo twice, and our water glasses were rinsed in the bathroom instead of being replaced with clean ones. There were too many ants around the property. The stairs down to the sea could use ropes to make getting in and out more comfortable, and the beach towels were disappointing, more like small kitchen towels. The food was delicious at lunch and dinner, especially the octopus, prawns and salads. Breakfast had plenty of food, but the quality wasn’t as good, particularly the sausages. We stayed at the Kas Hotel for a relaxing break in beautiful surroundings. The vibe was laid-back, but breakfast needs better bread and more choices.

We loved our stay and plan to come back next year. It’s a cheerful family business, with tasty food at very good prices and private-feeling lounges close to the sea. Steps lead down to the water, where there can be waves depending on the wind. All in all, we had an awesome time.
