The road to the villa passes through an empty area without pavement or lighting, which made it feel completely isolated. The electricity went out several times. When we arrived, the host gave us only two dishwasher capsules for our four-day stay and stressed that there wouldn't be any more. We were also allowed to use the sauna for exactly one hour a day. The villa felt like a neglected, abandoned property. There was dirt and dust inside and out, the grounds were unkempt, and the facade and outdoor furniture were grimy and stained. Many appliances and pieces of furniture were broken, and the dishes and towels looked as if they'd been used for years without being replaced. On the second day, a strong sewage smell spread through the villa, and by day four it was unbearable to stay inside. The dishwasher stopped working, dirty dishes piled up, and we'd run out of capsules. After checkout, the host asked us for €100 for “damaged items”: a slightly burned pot, a few stained towels, and a cheap glass. None of them were actually damaged. The place gave the impression of an abandoned building, with no standards for cleanliness or maintenance and no respect for guests.

The highlight for the kids was a very kind little wobbly cat who liked visiting the villa. She was incredibly friendly and flea-free, so we left out some food and water for her. The practical touches were helpful too: local food delivery services brought card machines for payment, and fridge magnets listed their numbers. There was also a nearby shopping area with food options, a barbershop, and more. The villa is very private, with no one able to see in, and the landscape and sea views are breathtaking. We loved the pool, outdoor jacuzzi, indoor jacuzzi (one in each room except the children’s room downstairs), and sauna. It was quiet and peaceful, perfect for watching unforgettable sunsets. I stayed here with my family and my now-fiancée, and I proposed to her overlooking the Mediterranean sea at sunset. It was the perfect setting. Our host, Erdem, was on call 24/7, always helpful, and truly a gentleman. His hospitality made everything easy and enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for a better place for our engagement, and we'll absolutely be back.

The villa was immaculate and even better than the pictures. Erdem was incredibly helpful, and I'll definitely book again for next year. Those bad reviews must be malicious, so don't listen to them!
