Villa Sato - Hill Villas Kalkan

I stayed at The Villa Heart with my family. The view is incredibly beautiful, and the rooms are nice and large. The pool, though, was cold and poorly cleaned. The villa sits at the top of a hill, so you definitely need a car and to be comfortable driving. The roads are very bad. Don't come before May 15 if you want peace: villas are being renovated everywhere, places are closed, and from 7 am you can hear the workers doing loud renovation work.

The villa was really clean, and the staff were so kind and helpful. When you arrive, they welcome you with a gift box.

We booked the villa as a group of nine and told them our number in advance. On arrival, they demanded another $150, saying the rate was for eight and we couldn't use the couch for someone to sleep on. The extra person got an old, smelly bed. There was no Wi-Fi. Every day they said they'd fix it, but they never did. We also had no hot water. The pool was dirty, took forever to fill, and its light plug was broken with wires exposed outside, which was dangerous. The bathroom door wouldn't close, and the other doors were poor quality too. When we left, they kept more than half the deposit even though we hadn't broken anything in this so-called villa. They charged us for towels that only needed washing, and took another $100 for cleaning even though we'd paid that from the start. I advise nobody to rent this villa. I felt the people were racist scammers, with no respect or professionalism. Shame.
