Bossa Nova Apart

The location made it easy to get everywhere we wanted, and we had such a lovely stay that we’re already planning to come back next year. Hatice, Alim, and everyone who helped us made us feel cared for. The cleaning lady kept everything incredibly clean, too. We’re very glad we got to know you all, and hope this will always be a special place for us. One small request for Japanese visitors: please try not to shout, since it disturbs everyone.

The room looked nothing like the photos, and this was far from a proper hotel apartment. There was no concierge, no on-site parking, and the staff didn’t speak English. The kitchen was unfinished, with a large hole, and there was no cooktop, only a rusty portable stove. They also refused to replace the towels daily. Staff agreed to move us to the room we had booked on the second day, then asked for extra payment after showing it to us, nearly doubling the price. Worse than an Airbnb room.

The building and apartment were finished and decorated to a really high standard, with clean rooms and comfortable beds. Our second-floor place had two bedrooms, each with an ensuite, including one converted into a loft, plus a living room with a sofa and TV, a balcony, and a small kitchenette. We only used the fridge. We were three people and stayed six nights after a little negotiating with a very friendly, helpful young man. We arrived by bus, walked about 100 metres, and found Bossa. It’s right in the middle of the resort. There was a bit of traffic noise out front, but it was quiet during sleeping hours. Highly recommended.

The main thing you’re paying for is the location, right in the centre, and the receptionist did help with parking, though finding a spot wasn’t easy. We were four in a two-bedroom apartment. The upper room got extremely hot and needed the air conditioning running constantly, with no shade at all at night. By 6 a.m. it was like a solarium. The bathrooms were tiny, the kitchen was poorly equipped, and the Wi-Fi was terrible.
