The location is across from the youth center, with buses 4-5 minutes away and the tram 15-20 minutes away. We’re three students renting an apartment for a year, and signed about a month ago at a reasonable price. The real estate agent is attentive and tries to sort out our issues, and someone is on the door 24/7 for daily rentals, security, and needs. The place has fiber optic infrastructure, and Türk Telekom installed it in a day. The furniture is very old, the walls are like paper, and there’s a lot of noise from upstairs. With the doors open, you can hear a lot between rooms. Sometimes things happen in the apartment that we can’t understand, but since it’s a new problem in Türkiye, we don’t have complaints yet.

We chose this place for its good location, but it was a disgrace. The beds were filthy, the linens hadn’t been changed, the room smelled of cigarettes, and there were hairballs on the floor. When we asked to leave because we didn’t like it, they wouldn’t refund us and spoke to us inconsiderately.

The staff were friendly, and I highly recommend it for the price. Paying directly gets you unbeatable rates compared with using an intermediary such as Booking.com. Given how cheap it is, you can make allowances. I was first offered a single room, asked for a double, and was moved to the top floor. It was newly renovated and extremely clean, but incredibly hot, with no air conditioning. Avoid the top floor in summer.

We spent four days in a duplex apartment on a business trip with my teammates from Ankara. It had two floors and felt like a wonderful house. The rooms and sheets were very clean, and the receptionist was warm and very friendly. I have nothing bad to say about the rooms. We’ve decided this will be our house in Kayseri.

The first room they gave us was really dirty. We asked to move, and they changed it the following day. The place we’re in now is better, though it still has some shortcomings.
