Newway Hotel

The blanket had yellow marks, and my face and neck felt itchy all night. I have sensitive skin, so I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone with the same issue. The pillowcase also had black dirt on it, and there were no towels in the room when we arrived. We asked three separate times before anything was brought. After the first call, we waited a few hours with no clean pillows or towels. We told reception in person before going to dinner, but still found nothing when we returned. I finally said I’d wait in the lobby until they brought what we’d asked for, and then we got it. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had in Turkey. Divan is a much, much better choice if you want a legit hotel. I only stayed at Newway because Divan was fully booked.

The photos gave a misleading impression. The hall was small and dark, and our room didn’t look like the pictures either. The place was dirty, with a full bin and an uncleaned floor, and it was loud because it’s right in front of a busy street.

Small but really efficient, a bit like swiss blade. The hotel was nice and comfortable, and my family room was quite large. The elevators were the one annoyance, they seemed to stop everywhere.

Tasty meals, a clean and lovely hotel, and good staff.
