Radisson Blu Hotel Mount Erciyes

The location is fantastic for staying in Ankara, and that matters a lot here. Still, this was easily the worst Radisson Hotel I've stayed at. The furniture looks ancient, maybe dating to 2003, and I don't think it's been repaired since the hotel's last renovation. The internet exists, but getting any speed out of it is another matter. Breakfast was neither good nor bad, and the space felt far too small for a hotel this size.

From the upper-floor balconies, you get a fantastic panoramic view. The hotel is right in the city center, near historic sights like Ankara castle and the museum of the first Grand National Assembly of Turkiye, as well as the main transport options. It has a warm, friendly atmosphere, and service was prompt whenever we needed something. Thanks to all the staff, led by GM Atilla bey, for looking after us so well.

The friendly staff were the strongest point here, and the hotel and rooms were clean. Breakfast was okay. The room upkeep was a problem, though: I had to call someone to repair a broken lamp and shower, and they did fix them. Both of my rooms had shower tubs that felt like slipping hazards. The sheets weren't 100% cotton, and I got so hot in bed that I couldn't sleep, night after night. Others have also mentioned the dated furniture, which I agree is another downside. It didn't feel like the other Radisson hotels.

We spent one night at Radisson Blu Hotel, Ankara on 20th October 2025. Our 9th-floor room had a lovely balcony and beautiful city views, which was a real highlight. The hotel's central spot was convenient for major attractions, public transport, and shopping, and the reception and restaurant staff were polite, friendly, and helpful throughout. The interiors and furniture felt old and below the Radisson Blu standard we've seen elsewhere. The bathroom fixtures and cleanliness also need work, as the place seemed worn and dated. The location and service were excellent, but renovation and better maintenance would help it live up to the brand. With some upgrades and more attention to cleanliness, guests could have a much better stay.
