Room 307 was a lovely, nostalgic triple room facing the street, and Volkan Bey looked after us right through checkout. Gökhan also helped whenever we needed something. When our car arrived at 9 PM, Volkan Bey even offered us coffee on the terrace. Thanks to him, Gökhan, and the glasses-wearing cleaning lady for all their care. We stayed from January 28th to January 31st. There were a few electrical problems in the room at first; they weren't fixed that day, but were taken care of the next day. Because I have a dust allergy, I appreciated that the room was cleaned daily. The towels, beds, pillows, and linens were spotless and smelled wonderful. The staff were quick to respond to requests, even though there aren't many of them. The hotel has been renovated and sits right on Cumhuriyet Square, which made getting around easy. Breakfast was clean and more than enough, though you shouldn't expect local specialties. There are plenty of places outside to try those. We ate at Elmacıoğlu and Sultan Sofrası too, but Bağdat Pöç on the Erciyes road, opposite Millet Bahçesi (National Garden), was the tastiest and best quality for local food. If you're visiting Kayseri and want a well-priced, good-quality place in a convenient spot, Steel Boutique Hotel is a good choice. Don't put too much weight on negative reviews. For luxury, you can spend more elsewhere, but for the price this is one of the better options around here. The hotel is surrounded by mosques and prayer rooms, and you can also pray in your room. I like luxury too, but the attention and service here were enough for me.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and getting around from this central spot was easy. Everyone on staff was so attentive, almost like they already knew us. I thought the price for what you get was really good. I’d read some negative reviews, but based on our stay, I wouldn’t let those put you off. Thanks to the whole team! 🤗👍

We booked for one night after reading the reviews, and I don't think people are being guided fairly. The place was mediocre, with no hygiene to speak of and practically nothing in the room besides water. Even breakfast didn't include white cheese. The room lights were broken, and the man who greeted us was extremely arrogant and didn't help us properly.

Our rooms had been sold by the time we arrived, even though we'd booked through hotels.com and confirmed by phone. We'd been told payment would be collected there, and there were no other rooms available. No one offered help or showed any empathy. The service was zero, and we felt humiliated in Kayseri that evening. A foreign couple with us was left in the same situation. A disgrace...
