The food was a real highlight, with fresh, carefully chosen ingredients, homemade breads, and dishes typical of Kayseri cuisine. Ms. Olus Molu, the owner, was a lovely host who looks after both the wine-making and making guests feel at home. The staff were very helpful too. We spent a late spring weekend at Sunolus Vineyard house, a sweet little boutique hotel with eight rooms at Molu farms and Vinolus vineyards, about 10 km north of Kayseri beside the Ankara highway. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There’s a cozy shared living and dining area, an outdoor pool, lovely dogs, indoor and outdoor spots to relax, and extensive walking trails through the farm and vineyards. Parking is free, and they offer tastings of their own fine organic wines.

The vineyard owner was very welcoming and did her best to make us feel at home. The food was excellent, and the place has real potential as a top event venue. We found the hotel very nice for a three-star stay, with a large outdoor area and a swimming pool. There’s also an indoor pool, but it wasn’t operating. The vineyard is huge and still produces wine. We stayed two nights to attend a wedding there, and had a fun, interesting time. One staff member, a woman, could have been more responsive to guests’ needs and concerns.

We only visited the restaurant. It’s set in a peaceful natural spot, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good, though I enjoyed the appetizers more. I also liked the wine they make themselves. Prices felt a bit high, but this was such a lovely experience that I think it was worth it.

We arrived by bicycle and they helped us recharge before we continued our trip. The food was delicious, the rooms were clean, and the place felt cozy. Everyone was kind and friendly. A great stay, and a big thank you for hosting us.

A peaceful little boutique hotel with a focus on sustainable tourism, and a lovely way to get out of the city and into nature. I especially enjoyed trying their wines. The tasting is worth doing, and my favorites were Narince and Kalecik Karasi. It’s owned by woman entrepreneur Olus, who is very warm and welcoming if you happen to meet her.
