The location and friendly staff were the only real positives. The food was okay, but pretty much everything else needs work. The restaurant table linen was always stained. Our bathroom flush failed three times, and the hairdryer stopped halfway through drying my hair. The walls were so thin we heard next door talking and footsteps overhead. We could even hear the live music from our room at the end of the corridor, though it stopped at 11 p.m. I don’t think the stay was worth what it cost.

We had a great time here, and the gate is less crowded. There was some good off-piste snow too. It works well for beginners and intermediate skiers or snowboarders, and rentals and ski passes here cost less than at many other major resorts. Awesome place.

We initially chose this hotel because it’s the only one at Hacilar gate, and we’d heard the other gates get crowded at this time of year. But there are more reasons to come. It’s not just the location, they really try to provide good service. I’d read that it feels like home, and it really does. Our room was spacious enough to put our things away, and everyone, from the waiters and receptionists to the housekeepers and kitchen staff, did their best. It’s also a lovely place to take photos.

I spent three days here and found the hotel in very bad condition. The food was poor, and the lobby bar was expensive. One night I ordered a fastfood sucuk for about 30 dollars. It was low quality and upset my stomach. The rooms weren’t good enough either, and the service was bad. The dishes weren’t clear, and customer service told me that if I didn’t stay at the hotel that night, I couldn’t stay in the lobt until 3 pm. This feels like a money trap. Don’t go here. You can find better hotels and cheaper food in the city center.
