Miarosa Kemer Beach

The only real plus was the location, about an hour’s drive from Antalya airport. I’d strongly advise against coming with children. This doesn’t deserve 5 stars, perhaps 2 European stars at most, and even that feels generous. We were a group of 14 across six rooms, and every room looked badly finished and unhygienic when we arrived. The rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and pool areas all had poor finishing and hazards around the place. Hygiene was awful too. Dining tables, chairs, cutlery, and plates were dirty, drinks had made the floors sticky, and it seemed no one was cleaning. Several people in our group got infections. We can’t say whether it was food poisoning or a bacterial infection. We were there outside peak season, and it’s worrying to imagine how things are then. Staff were very rude and seemed unwilling to serve foreigners who don’t speak Russian. No one spoke English or German, and there was little empathy or willingness to communicate. There’s no free Wi-Fi, and you have to pay separately for each device. Apart from the pool, all advertised amenities cost extra, and the facilities are worn and outdated.

The one bright spot was Kingdom of Sea aquapark, with lots of attractions and great pools. The animators and restaurant staff were kind and professional. The rest of our stay was stressful, and this doesn’t feel like a 5-star hotel. Poor service and no accountability. I wouldn’t recommend it. We were at Miarosa Kemer Beach with our 3-year-old. One night we found bedbugs in room 3419. Reception suggested cleaning the room and having us stay there, which wasn’t acceptable since cleaning alone can’t get rid of bedbugs. We had to insist before they moved us, after midnight. No one helped with our luggage, despite it being late and us having a child. The next morning, we had to move rooms again. Staff repeatedly asked when we would return the old room key instead of offering support or showing any empathy. They were unfriendly. When we asked about a missing tap, we were told, “we don’t have one.” We also tried to book the à la carte dinner, which is free for guests staying 7+ nights, but were told there was no availability for the whole week.

Good morning. Yunus, our waiter, was so kind and attentive, and took care of everything our family expected. He did his job beautifully. Staying at your place was a wonderful experience, and I’m very grateful to him.

This is nowhere near a 5-star hotel, 4 at best in its current state. The building is very outdated and badly needs renovation. Our room was in terrible shape, moldy, and not clean at all, and housekeeping was very poor. Most of the beach sunbeds were broken. The evening shows and adult disco had a bad 90s feel, and not even the good kind, lol. The kids’ show was the same stuff you get everywhere in Turkey, nothing new.
