We had a wonderful time here in May 2026 with our toddler. Club Med is beautifully landscaped, with several lovely pools, and it’s one of the prettiest Club Meds we’ve seen. The food was fantastic, with lots of variety and good quality at both the buffets and the 2 restaurants. Maxence at the archery range was a very cool, great teacher. Ewan taught water skiing, and Celebi at buffet pavillion 5 was our favorite server.

I’m staying at Club Med Palmiye for the third year in a row, and our family books 7-8 rooms each year. We’re loyal guests and know what level of service to expect. Today, though, the resort failed at the most basic responsibility of keeping guests safe. At about 8:00 AM, I found a huge scorpion inside my room. My young son had been walking around barefoot just minutes before. I called reception, then called again, and again. After three calls, nobody came. My son and I watched the scorpion for around 40 minutes because we were afraid it might disappear somewhere in the room and we wouldn’t know where it was. I eventually stopped a housekeeping employee in the corridor to ask for help. Without that, I don’t know how much longer we’d have waited. There was another safety issue in my mother’s room, where water was leaking straight from the ceiling light fixture in the bathroom. I reported both problems to reception that morning. They said the building would be treated for pests and the leak repaired. I specifically asked them to inspect and treat the entire building, not just our room, because many children are staying there. When I came back to reception in the evening, nothing had been done. No pest control, repair, follow-up, or communication. There was no manager available or other responsible person to speak to, and nobody took ownership of these serious concerns. Finding a scorpion in a hotel room is unacceptable. Leaving us alone with it for 40 minutes after repeated requests for help is beyond that. Ignoring a pest problem and a water leak in an electrical fitting all day is simply negligent. This has been incredibly disappointing after three years of loyalty and bringing a large group every year. Club Med markets itself as a premium family resort, but today it failed to provide basic guest safety. I sincerely hope management acts before a child gets hurt and this becomes a more serious incident.

The team were brilliant, full of energy, and I still wonder how Oussama keeps going. The resort is gorgeous, with immaculate lawns and trees. At the end of April the weather was lovely, and the sea and wind were great. The food was delicious, and the tourist trip was great too. There was some confusion between what we asked for at reception and what room service brought. Getting from the airport to the resort could be a nightmare, it seems. Aside from that, it was near-perfect.

The general atmosphere, service, and range of activities are good, but unprofessional moments have spoiled the experience. At sailing, the queue seems to reward whoever shouts loudest and elbows others aside. I waited over an hour and was still waiting, with no idea when I’d get a turn. Nods that say “soon” aren’t enough. The Olympic family games had a similar problem. My three-year-old waited patiently at the back of the line, and when his turn came, the cones had already been taken away. There have been plenty of moments like these. It seems rude people with sharp elbows get what they want at the expense of ordinary, polite guests who treat staff respectfully.

The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We were very pleased with the accommodation, food, and atmosphere at Club Med Palmiye. It’s relaxing but still fun, surrounded by beautiful nature. Sailing, canoeing, paddle boarding, and water skiing were well organized and had good equipment. It was a bit disappointing that windsurfing had been removed, but the range of other water sports made up for it. The food was delicious and varied. Room renovations have started, and hopefully they’ll be finished soon. I recommend the resort.
