Dedeman Kemer Resort

It was easy to relax here, with a pleasant atmosphere and generally good service. Staff were friendly and helpful during our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though some parts could use a little renovation. Dedeman Kemer Resort is conveniently located near the sea, with lovely mountain views. We had a good stay and found it a solid option in Kemer.

The bars and food were excellent, and the aqua park and pools were good. But the rooms were outdated, unrenovated, and very dirty, and the price felt too high for what the hotel offers. There was nobody around to stop guests reserving pool sunbeds. Local tourists were rude, caused huge crowds, and behaved unpleasantly. The beach was far away, and the shuttle wasn't very reliable or punctual. It seemed to attract guests from a lower income group. The public restrooms were filthy, and the hotel was extremely dirty. After we got home, everyone in our group caught a virus and developed a skin rash. We weren't the only ones. They had to do a general cleaning and pest control yesterday, which shows thorough cleaning isn't done regularly.

We booked a 22 m² double room with a mountain view, but got a tiny 10-11 m² single room instead. There was barely space to move: we left suitcases on tables, and had to climb over the bed to cross the room. The windows were filthy, and the so-called mountain view only showed if you leaned far over the balcony railing. When we asked to change rooms, reception laughed and said we could do it after three days. The lobby looked fine when we arrived, but the hotel didn't match its pictures or description, and the service was nowhere near what we'd expect from a 5-star Ultra All Inclusive resort. Cleanliness throughout was unacceptable. Glass rails and floors were stained and dirty, common areas were unkempt, and used plates, cups, and bottles sat on tables at all hours. The coffee machine was full of old residue and mold. Restaurant plates were often dirty, so we wiped them ourselves. Towels were worn and had holes. It felt like nobody cared about hygiene. Food and drink were another letdown. Dishes had no labels, which is unsafe for people with allergies. There were usually only two main dishes and a few sides. The fruit bar was mostly apples, sometimes a few grapes, and the seafood corner was imitation crab sticks. The à la carte restaurant advertised as included wasn't open; we were told it would open next year. There were no imported drinks, not even simple sparkling wine. Juices were watery powder mixes in orange, cherry, and apple flavors. We chose this place because the listing promised beach volleyball, billiards, table tennis, table football, aerobics, a gym, and animation. Beach volleyball wasn't allowed, there was no billiards table, and the table tennis board was broken and leaned against a wall. Table football had no ball, and staff said they couldn't buy one because people always steal them. The gym was shut due to a ceiling leak. The animators sat or smoked, with no activities or programs. Water slides were broken and dangerously blocked with chairs, even as water still flowed down them. The whole place felt abandoned and badly managed, with broken equipment, old facilities, and dirty tables, nothing like the bright modern resort on the travel agency website. Even the TezTour guide said the hotel was really bad and didn't seem surprised by our complaints. It shouldn't be advertised as Ultra All Inclusive or even close to a 4-star property. That's misleading and unfair to travelers expecting a clean, comfortable stay. We hope management and tour operators improve the conditions and stop using false descriptions.

The relaxation area where I had my massage was amazing, and the food was fresh and delicious. Staff were incredibly polite. Thank you, Jey, Vlad, and Flo. I had a wonderful, restful stay and was pleasantly surprised by how happy I was with it.
