The location is excellent, right on the beachfront and in the city center. The sea is crystal clear, the beach is beautiful and well kept, the sunbeds are good, and there was no rubbish around. The room itself was nice, with a fridge and safe, and we liked the bathroom and toilet. Check-in was smooth. Still, the employee who showed us to the room seemed to expect a tip and eventually asked for one outright. We arrived around 4 PM hoping to head straight to the sea. Towels required cards collected in the basement massage area. The staff there initially seemed friendly, then spent 15-20 minutes aggressively trying to sell us massages. We’d just arrived and weren’t interested, and after that I avoided going down for towels. The food wasn’t anything special. It was the same every day, with no variety. The bar didn’t impress me either, and the alcoholic drinks were very low quality. The beach bar charges extra for everything, so it makes little sense when you can walk 20 meters for a free beer. It seemed to be there for show, as nobody ordered anything. If food and bar drinks aren’t a big concern for you, it’s a pretty good hotel for the price.

The young waiters and baristas do a great job, and there are plenty of beach beds, though early risers get the better ones. The food is decent, with the barbecue section better than the salads or cooked dishes. Non-alcoholic drinks aren’t good, but bottled drinking water is readily available. Nightly entertainment is mostly aimed at Russian guests. The beach is busy with pushy, rude guests. If you tip the porter, don’t expect any thanks. Reception staff were poor, and you may need to haggle and persist to get the rooms you booked. I recommend the local museum, the Yorku Parki, the port, and the shops near the clock tower and mosque. I’m adding this because the hotel’s reply implied we had misunderstood. We didn’t. We contacted our home agency ourselves to sort out the rooms that our friends and we had booked and paid for a month and a half before the trip. The hotel didn’t contact them first. I chose nicer photos and left out videos and some questionable details from the first rooms, which clearly weren’t prepared for two married couples. I included both good and bad parts of the service. We were repeatedly urged to take an alleged suite, which was basically a family room, even though we had booked two separate rooms and wanted exactly those. I had to walk away from reception to end the conversation. There was absolutely no misunderstanding on our part.

The hotel was spotless, from the rooms to the shared areas. We also ate well, with a good selection of fresh, well-prepared food, especially at lunch and dinner. The staff were warm and accommodating, always greeting us with a smile and helping whenever we needed something. Shops, restaurants, and major attractions are all a short walk away. I really enjoyed the stay and would recommend it.

The team at Lancora Hotel made us feel special every day. They learned our names and were always offering help. I want to thank all the staff for their hard work, good manners, kindness, politeness, and social intelligence. My mom and I had a great time and would happily return. We booked a transfer through the hotel, and it was organized so well. The private driver was waiting outside the airport on time with a card bearing my name. He was polite, drove carefully, and was lovely to talk with. With no traffic, the trip took 40 minutes. Since it was the start of the season, we could choose a room, which isn’t possible when the hotel is full. The receptionist was very friendly and tried hard to meet our needs. I’m grateful to the owner and management for opening the hotel so early in Kemer. My mom and I were lucky, since it was the only time we could both take time off and meet in Turkey. The grounds were well looked after and ready for guests, and the team was prepared to work. Management and the kitchen chef were out front making sure guests were happy. As someone who enjoys fitness, I was glad to find tasty, healthy food choices. The hamam was great too. I had five massages with Sultan and highly recommend him. He took good care of my body and soul, and I feel refreshed and ready to work. The bartenders at Barbarossa Bar on the hotel grounds made great featured cocktails, were well dressed, and always welcoming.

It’s a quiet hotel on the first line, with its own pebble beach, though it gets crowded. There are activities for children, but no loud parties for adults. The rooms aren’t perfect, but they have what you need and the furniture and linens were clean. The food was okay, nothing like Michelin cooking, but perfectly edible and nobody got sick. WiFi was average. Economy rooms only have windows facing the corridor. For a four-star place, it fits the rating. If the price isn’t inflated, it’s a decent, peaceful option by the beach.
