Musa made breakfast on my last morning especially memorable. He greeted us before we sat down, brought hot drinks right away, kept the water and juice coming, and cleared plates promptly. Attentive, polite, and thoughtful, he’s one of the most considerate restaurant staff I’ve met. 👏 The food was a real highlight. At the dinner buffet there was whole sea bream, salt-baked the first night and fried the next, as well as grilled salmon. It felt like a premium spread, though maybe that was a Saturday special. The hotel itself felt modern, and the staff were consistently professional. I also spotted a live piano performance in the lobby at 8 pm. And this was the first hotel on our trip with a Christmas tree already set up beautifully in the lobby. Such a lovely festive surprise! 🎄😍

We came for the İzmir Fuar and spent two nights here. The hotel is a bit far from Airpot and sits up on a hill, so getting around wasn’t very convenient. The lobby looked nice, though it was really dark. The front desk staff were pleasant and called a cab when we needed one. Our twin room had enough space for two people and four pieces of luggage, but it felt dated, and the third floor smelled of cigarettes. The shower flooded and leaked out, and the bidet leaked too. We had a look at the gym and spa. Both were nice and clean, but we didn’t have time to book a service. Breakfast was pleasant with a range of options. Checking out was a nightmare, with no order to the process. The woman helping us, Rabia, was rude and impatient and had a terrible attitude. They tried to charge us for a restaurant meal we hadn’t ordered, saying we’d eaten there. The receipt they handed us clearly didn’t match our reservation name.

The thermal and main pools in the SPA were outstanding, and that peaceful retreat feeling made the stay worthwhile. Some staff went out of their way to help us feel welcome. Olcak and Leman from Housekeeping deserve special mention. Leman was wonderful and excellent at her job, a real asset to the hotel. Olcak was professional and exceptional, and his sightseeing advice was genuinely useful. With his knowledge, warmth, and attentiveness, he’d make an excellent addition to the front desk, especially compared with some front desk staff who were unhelpful and unwelcoming. There are plenty of areas that need work. The hotel feels stuck in the 90s, including its outdated payment systems, which caused us a lot of inconvenience. Communication was hard because most staff didn’t speak English. We felt some avoided interacting with guests unless they spoke Turkish. There was very little tourist information or guidance to help us get around Izmir. The rooms were comfortable but dated and in need of renovation. The wardrobes, floors, and other fixtures didn’t seem to have been deeply cleaned. Smoking was a MAJOR problem, especially around the pool, where it was impossible to avoid and made things terrible for us. Separate smoking and non-smoking areas would make a spa retreat much healthier and more pleasant. The location was another major drawback. The hotel is surrounded by rough, dirty roads and unpleasant-smelling parts of Izmir, with stray dogs roaming around. Getting to a bus stop, shops, or restaurants means walking nearly 20 minutes along a dangerous, poorly maintained road. Guests should be told this more clearly. Not everyone will want to depend on taxis to cover 2 kilometres to the main amenities. There’s little else nearby, so the hotel feels isolated. A shuttle or transport service would help guests reach local areas safely and get back comfortably. Safety and accessibility are real concerns here. Breakfast was adequate but repetitive, with the same limited bread selection and very few vegetables or hot dishes. More variety would help. There were no traditional Turkish dishes, which was disappointing in Turkey, and the hotel didn’t seem to serve or promote authentic local food at breakfast or during dining hours. That felt like a missed chance to share Turkish hospitality and flavours. The hotel has a lot of potential. Modern updates, more varied food, clearer communication, and better guest services could make it one of the region’s top spa resorts.

The staff were lovely, and we had a fantastic buffet breakfast. Our cozy room looked out over the swimming pool. Universal adapters would make the stay even better. :)

The thermal spa was the standout for me, with big pools of naturally warm mineral water, clean locker areas, and a really calming feel. The spa team were professional, and the massages were excellent. Bring a swimsuit and flip-flops if you plan to spend time in the pools. I found the rooms comfortable and well kept, with good beds and strong shower pressure. Breakfast and dinner buffets offered lots of choices, from Turkish food to international dishes. Staff were friendly, efficient, and always willing to help. The hotel is modern, spacious, and focused on comfort and wellness. It’s peaceful away from the city noise, but still a short drive from the main sights. I stayed here on a visit to İzmir and it exceeded my expectations.
