Truemar Hotels & Suites

We keep coming back, and my son even met up with friends from last year. I like that the hotel has regular guests, and we're planning another visit. The owners are friendly, responsive, and always help us sort out any questions. The modern rooms are clean and well kept, so comfortable that we don't want to leave. It's great having Turkish children's channels on the TV. The appliances are good and work properly, which matters a lot on holiday. The pool is large, warm, and always clean, and the grounds are well maintained.

The beds were comfortable, and the location is fairly convenient, about a 15-minute walk from local markets. Just be prepared for a steep hill, which could be difficult for some. I stayed here a month ago, and came away with mixed feelings. The garden looks charming at first, but quite a few plants seemed neglected. Some pool parasols were broken and needed fixing, and I didn't see the pool water being refreshed. The kitchen also lacked basic cooking items, including pans, which made it difficult to prepare meals. I'd give the stay three stars. The setting and location have potential, but maintenance problems and some uncomfortable experiences held it back.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The place could use some small investments, like new chairs and tables, to make it feel fresher. It also needs easier maintenance and better care of things around the compound. The cleaning wasn't good when we arrived, but the staff came back and cleaned it properly.

The area was calm, and the apartment had plenty of space with soft beds. The poolside rubbish was off-putting, though, and the rooms felt a bit worn.
