Viking Beach Hotel

I'd rate the stay 5/10. The staff are friendly and helpful, and although not everyone speaks English well, there's enough to get by. Drinks are cold, and the hotel is close to the city centre. The beach is just below the hotel, but if you want to sleep past 9am, you may not find a sunbed, as it gets crowded. The food really wasn't good. Don't bother with the sweets, they aren't sweet at all. Baklava is the only decent one.

I came from Munich to see my grandmother and mother, who have been staying here for almost two months. Now I understand why they keep coming back. The hotel is very clean, and the food is excellent, with lots of different dishes and a grill every evening. Nothing was missing. The staff are pleasant, there were always sunbeds free at the beach, and the massages were wonderful. I have nothing to complain about.

I had a great stay at Viking Beach Hotel in Kemer. The food was pretty good, with plenty of choice and fresh, tasty options at every meal. The grounds are beautifully kept, and the atmosphere feels welcoming and relaxing. The location is hard to beat, right by the beach, with lovely sea and mountain views.

The hygiene issue was the part I couldn't overlook. I'm pregnant, so cleanliness matters a lot to me, and that basic standard wasn't met. Towels weren't changed daily. Some were folded up as though clean, but we recognized our used ones by a stain that was still there. Even when we left dirty towels on the floor to show they needed replacing, they sometimes came back. The hotel itself is quite okay: decent rooms, acceptable food, and very pleasant staff. At the beach, drinks cost extra and there's no direct service. The sunbeds are packed side by side, almost on top of each other, though honestly that wasn't such a big issue. Be careful choosing a hotel and research it thoroughly, as hygiene problems can lead to serious health issues.
