While my wife and I were in Akyaka, we wanted to find beaches where it’d be easy to swim, and there’s a beach here. The road is rocky, but if you head toward Akbük, pass the first entrance to Pake Beach and take the second one farther along, you can go through the forest to the seaside. We drove to the end of the small lake and didn’t pay the 400 TL charge there. There’s also a nice-looking rocky area a little farther on.

It might work for caravans, but I wouldn’t camp in a tent there. Camping was possible, but there was a pond where wastewater had mixed in, and the smell was awful. The business seemed idle.

Turnalı Bungalow is clean, comfortable for families, and has everything you’d expect at home. The sea is beautiful, and Akyaka, 15 km away, is a place to get food as well as a town full of historic and tourist attractions. It really depends on what kind of vacation you want. If nature, the sea, silence, and peace are what you’re after, I definitely recommend visiting. Have a great holiday!

The sea is wonderfully clear, and the views of the water and nature are great. Getting to the beach by car is the one tricky part. The road has very large stones, so it’s a good idea to walk it first before driving down.

It’s high up on a mountain, and the sea is very deep, so don’t go with children or if you can’t swim. The rooms are bad, there’s no service, the water is salty seawater, and the hotel staff are rude and disrespectful.
