The WiFi was terrible, and the bed wasn't flat. Breakfast wasn't worth the wait either. The place seems neglected and left to decay. It looks like a hotel that used to be something, but isn't anymore. Unfortunately, it needs serious work.

I preferred the food here to what other hotels serve, though there wasn't as much variety.

Most things were fine, but the dining room smelled strongly of smoke, which felt very unhealthy. The room also had no air ventilation, and sleeping there was really uncomfortable, so I had to open the window. You can't adjust the air conditioning in the room. Staff said it was controlled by the main office and they couldn't change anything, which makes the remote in the room pointless. Staff weren't much help otherwise, and communication in English was difficult.

The location works if you're happy staying at the hotel, but getting to the city center means taking a cab, so I wouldn't suggest it for people who want to wander around town. The lounge bar was crowded when I visited, and I liked that it seemed to draw people who weren't hotel guests as well. The rooms were clean, a good size, and had separate showers and toilets, but there was no soundproofing around the toilet, which felt awkward. Food was good though the choices could be broader, and service was excellent. Cleanliness was pretty good. The WiFi can be tricky, so ask the reception guys. Three stars mainly because of the lack of soundproofing.
