Bayır Diamond Hotel & Convention Center Konya

We had a great experience at this hotel, and the food in The Dining Room was great. We met Zisan, who was a wonderful person and very nice to my family and everyone in The Dining Room. This hotel should be proud to have great people like that. Thank you.

The rest of the hotel was good, but two things made it impossible for me to rest or work properly. First, the air conditioning only heats. The room was 24 degrees, much too hot for me since I can't sleep above 20. Reception suggested opening the window, which I'd already tried, but the street noise made it hard to get decent rest. The wifi was also extremely slow, only 4 Mbps. That's unbelievable in 2025 when other hotels have 100 Mbps or more for uploads and downloads. I couldn't work with a connection that slow. Those are the two key things the hotel is missing for me.

We stayed one night, Oct 5-6, 2025. The room was good and the bed very comfortable. The handheld shower head had much better water flow. Breakfast had a lot of ham. I mostly had orange juice, though it wasn't freshly squeezed, and ate plenty of cherry tomatoes for vitamin C. The restaurant is on level R, between the rooms on the higher floors and the lobby below. Many people brought their luggage to breakfast, so we were all stuck waiting for the elevators near our tour bus departure time.

Dinner was fabulous tonight, and the dining room staff made it extra fun. Kodir, Melissa, Elmas, and Hatice gave us a lively language lesson that made the evening special.
