The staff were nice, though they weren’t always around. The mattresses were comfortable and the sheets and duvets clean, but the pillows were too big. There was heating and the lights worked. Lockers were available, full-sized for shared rooms and half-sized in the dorm, with keys provided. If your budget is tight, it’s doable, but I didn’t find the hostel comfortable. Getting in could be difficult when nobody was around because the lobby door stayed locked, and check-in instructions weren’t clear. The Wi-Fi mostly didn’t work, so I had to use mobile data. Bathrooms needed repairs: dirty floors, a clogged drain, a broken toilet seat, and a bad smell. The sink only had cold water, while the shower only had hot water. Water pressure was very low, and the shower drain clogged and spilled water across the floor. There was just one toilet and shower per floor, toilet paper ran out, and the small garbage can overflowed. No towels or shampoo were provided, though a small sheet-like towel and little shampoo bottle were available to buy. The dorm door couldn’t be locked. In a 16-bed room there were only two sockets, and just one worked for charging phones. There was no indoor common area, kitchen, or place to unwind. Other guests smoked in their rooms, and the smoke spread into all the rooms and hallway.

For 18 euros I got a single room with a shared bathroom, so you get what you pay for. The room was fairly clean, and I slept decently. Wi-Fi worked and the shower had warm water. The shared bathroom was a bit of a mess and didn’t seem to get cleaned daily. Before arriving, I got no reply on either WhatsApp or the booking site.

The rooms you said were full were actually empty. I ended up staying in the room next door after you stopped answering my calls. I arrived at 11 PM and waited until midnight, but nobody was there. Two other people arrived in the meantime and their phones weren’t checked either. When I went out during the day, again no one was around. Do you think I’m so simple-minded that I’d leave a bad review just because someone carried my luggage? I’ve stayed in plenty of hostels. You also put me in the coldest room, with no heating. It seems you didn’t address the points from my first review and just interpreted them as you saw fit.
