Hotel Ney

The rooms could use an update, and the furnishings feel worn, though the hotel was clean everywhere. Breakfast had a good range of tasty options, and the staff made us feel welcome with how friendly they were. Hotel Ney is also close to many of Konya's main sights, Mevlana Museum included, which made getting around easy. It was still a comfortable, convenient place to stay despite the dated rooms.

In May 2025 I spent two nights at Hotel Ney in Konya and had a very enjoyable stay. It takes under five minutes to walk to Rumi's Museum. The room service was good, and the receptionists were friendly and ready to help. I'll definitely stay there again when I'm next in Konya.

The staff were polite and the location was good, but breakfast was pretty ordinary. Our room was awful. The entire corridor smelled of cigarettes, and the smell was just as bad in our room. Even the sheets and towels reeked of it. Our eyes hurt, so we had to leave the window open while we slept. The bathroom smelled like urine and had lots of mold around the sink. For what we paid, this was one of the worst stays we've had. I don't understand how they can operate a hotel this way.

My stay at Hotel Ney was comfortable, and the owner's help after I checked out made the experience especially memorable. They helped arrange a rental car, sort through insurance matters, and translate while I was talking with the car's owner. I really appreciated the personal attention and the effort to help me beyond my time at the hotel. I'd gladly recommend the place.
