Sillehan Boutique Hotel

Sille has a dreamy, distinctive feel, and its history goes back to the Byzantine era. The village and this hotel felt like a fairytale to me, unlike anywhere else nearby. The restored Ottoman building took Habib Bey nine years to bring back, and the care shows everywhere. It sits in a great spot, and the rooms are comfortable, spotless, and filled with unusual art and antique pieces. The bathroom is especially clean, with modern fittings that blend in well. There are thoughtful extras in the room too, including books about the area and local recipes, plus a wide range of satellite TV channels. Breakfast was something special, and the hospitality and food quality are best experienced for yourself. Habib Bey went out of his way to make our stay wonderful. I highly recommend it, and no, he didn't give me a discount to write this.

I stumbled across this lovely boutique hotel on Google, right in the middle of Sille, which makes it a great base for exploring the old town. Habib and his wife were incredibly friendly and welcoming. He's professional, speaks good English, and is a pleasure to chat with. He decorated and upgraded the rooms himself, using high quality products from across Europe. Highly recommended!
